Enterprise Information Architecture Assessments

KRM assists commercial businesses, local and state governments to improve and streamline process and to more efficiently use their information. KRM believes that organizations must focus on the importance of integrating processes and information across the entire enterprise. By doing so an integrated and repeatable approach can be used to provide for, and manage, information regarding the company’s missions, processes products, customers, and suppliers. This approach will create a consistent framework that can be used to support planning and process improvement initiatives and will result in decreased business costs and fewer redundant functions, processes, and information.

An Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) is a formal statement of how technical resources and business processes are currently organized. It provides an understanding of how each functional area is using information in support of its goals, and how information can be used more effectively across the enterprise to better support the overall mission of the organization. The objective is to create a reference source that will effectively communicate the current and proposed architecture, make information more accessible and useable, and support planning and process improvement. An EIA will contribute to a better understanding of the organization’s missions, how they are accomplished, and the technology infrastructure necessary to facilitate the sharing of information assets.

MedVAIS©

MEDVAISMEDVAIS© maintains information about a medical device including a description of its function, its configuration, compliance to HIPAA and Hardening Guidelines, and its corresponding technical vulnerabilities. Vulnerability data from diverse vulnerability scanners is collected, archived and made available for analysis. One key strength of the MEDVAIS system, is its ability to normalize and maintain this data that would be nearly impossible otherwise.
