| Minimum/General Experience: |
| Ten years experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: demonstrated experience with DBMS design and system analysis, current operating systems software internals and data manipulation languages. General experience includes increasing responsibilities in the development and maintenance of database systems. |
| Functional Responsibility: |
| Manages the development of database projects. Plans and budgets staff and database resources. When necessary reallocates resources to maximize benefits, Prepares and delivers presentations on DBMS concepts. Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff. |
| Minimum Education: |
| Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business. With a Master’s degree (in the fields described above), eight years experience of which at least six years must be specialized experience. With thirteen years of programming experience, a degree is not required. |
